Valencia MotoGP Circuit: Features
The Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo, simply known as the Ricardo Tormo circuit, was opened in 1999. It is 4 km long and it features 14 turns, while the longest straight measures 876 meters. Recently designed, the circuit is renowned for the excellent visibility of the track from any position and, thanks to the favorable Valencian weather, is used as a testing track by many teams.

The Valencian Community Motorcycle Grand Prix was born along with the Ricardo Tormo circuit, which has hosted the event since its very first edition in 1999. Since then, the race has become a fixed appointment in the Motorcycle World Championship.

For several years now, the Valencia GP has been chosen as the concluding event of the Motorcycle World Championship, also thanks to the good weather conditions of the surroundings, which allow racing between the end of October and early November.
