The Bugatti Circuit, named in honor of the Italian designer and entrepreneur Ettore Bugatti, founder of the Bugatti automobile brand, was opened in 1966 and has hosted numerous Motorcycle World Championship races in addition to a Formula 1 Grand Prix. It is a technical track, with many medium to high-speed turns.

French MotoGP: History and Trivia
The French Motorcycle Grand Prix dates back to 1920 when it was first held in Le Mans, but only since 1951 this race has been part of the Motorcycle World ChampionshipOver time, it has changed locations several times: Albi, Rouen, Reims, Clermont-Ferrand, Le Castellet, Nogaro… with various editions held in Le Mans, which has been the permanent home of the French GP since 2000.
